Werner Cloete

Werner Cloete grew up in Stellenbosch, South Africa, where he attended Paul Roos Gymnasium, matriculating in 1999 as head boy of the school. In 2003, he received his BSc(Ed) degree from the University of Stellenbosch. In 2004 and 2005 he held teaching positions in England, notably at the Royal Grammar School (Teacher of Mathematics) and Berkhamsted Collegiate School (Teacher of Chemistry). Since July 2005, Werner has been teaching Science at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch, where he is resident master at a boarding house and involved with character development, hockey and tennis.
 
Werner has encouraged Christian teachers at numerous events, including the National Christian Teachers' Convention, the Teachers in Christ conference and SAOU (a teachers' union) conferences. He also has a passion for the restoration of fatherhood and has been involved with launching the "Engage Schools" campaign, on which he has consulted a number of schools, and has attended a Master Trainer Seminar of The World Needs a Father. He has also invested in young leaders at occasions such as the Die Burger Youth Leaders' Conference, church meetings, school prefect training seminars, etc.
  

Werner Cloete completed a Bachelor of Theology (Homours) this year with Stellenbosch Theological Institute.


Since September 2008, Werner has been married to Lelani, a teacher of Life Orientation.
