Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations.

In a world where technology touches every aspect of our lives, it is crucial that our children become active creators of technology, not just passive users. We believe that the ability to code allows children to make their ideas a reality. Tynker's mission is to provide every child with solid foundations in Computer Science, programming, and critical thinking skills to prepare them to become better architects of their future world.

Whether you're new to coding, studying it in school, or planning your career, you can dream big, build creatively and boldly bring your ideas to life.

What If Learning

The What If Learning website, developed in collaboration with the Transforming Lives Project, and the Sydney Anglican Education Commission, is designed for any Christian teacher who wants to teach Christianly, whatever the subject or age group. It is not a curriculum but rather a pedagogical approach that roots the learning experience in Christian faith, hope, and love, offering both practical examples for the classroom and theoretical rationale.

Curriculum Materials

  • The Kuyers Math Curriculum is a fresh approach to mathematics, designed to be both interesting and applicable to the world we live in. It integrates a Christian approach, using mathematics to think about and better understand God, his creation, and our place and calling in the world.

  • The Elsa Cortina Project uses the biographical narrative of a Cuban refugee to encourage students to adopt a countercultural critical stance toward the prevailing culture from a faith-based perspective.

Science and Religion Project - The Science and Religion in Schools Project is based in Oxford, England. Their attractive website has some sample materials for both primary and secondary Schools.

Stapleford centre - The Stapleford Centre website has an online bookshop with a lot of resources for primary and secondary level (including the Charis Project materials) and continuous professional development. There is also information on conferences and courses, including distance-learning courses up to MA level in faith and education, and freely downloadable materials (click on for these).

Christian thinking resources from the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship in the UK - This website is run by the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship in the UK in partnership with International Fellowship of Evaneglical Students (IFES), Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF), l'Abri and the Zecharias Trust. It aims to make available the best Christian thinking and communication resources and includes sections on Apologetics, Culture and Worldview, Science and Christianity, History and Jesus, Truth and intolerance and many others. It is recommended for anybody working with thinking young people and adults.

Godly Play Foundation - The Center for the Theology of Childhood has developed Godly Play, a distinctive method of Christian education for children aged 2 to 12. This website gives a helpful introduction to the theory and practice of this Approach.
